Audition closes or freezes after a few seconds
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
Audition comes up but quickly shuts down after a few seconds, usually before you even get to log in. There is no X-Trap or Audition error message.Solution:
There are two possibilities:
- Your antivirus is seeing XTrap as a threat and you can simply turn it off while playing audition, you can turn it on back after you play
- Your firewall is preventing the application to be able to run, and you can simply turn off your firewall or add the audition program on the exception list of your windows firewall. You can do this by:
Start-->Control Panel-->Windows Firewall-->Exceptions Tab-->Click Add Program -->look for the "Patcher.exe" and "Audition.exe" on your Audition folder. If you turned off your firewall, turn it on after playing.

BSOD after clicking "Start" in patcher [XDva380.sys]
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
A blue screen of death occurs after pressing Start in the game's patcher. The technical information in the error message is:
* STOP: 0x0000008E ( ... )
* XDva380.sys - Address ...Solution:
Ensure that patcher.exe and Audition.exe are set to run as Administrator in their properties.
Starting Audition brings up the patcher.
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
When starting up Audition, the (official) patcher will come back up.Solution:
This means that Audition.exe itself and potentially other game files are not fully patched. This can happen if patches are missed or a patch fails. To solve, repatch from the first missed patch, or do a complete reinstall or repatch.
A connection with the server could not be established
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
The error "A connection with the server could not be established" is given when starting up the patcher.Solution:
Make sure you have a working Internet connection, open your browser and verify this. Add patcher.exe as an exception to your active firewall or disable your firewall. Also make sure patcher and Audition are set to run as Administrator if applicable.
Login Errors
Wrong Version.

This means that one or more patches were not successful. Manually repatch from the version before this started happening.
Audition freezes when logging in, then disconnects
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
After typing in username/password and logging in, the game doesn't do anything and after about 15 seconds you get "Disconnected from server."Solution:
This usually means the server is down for maintenance (in the case of a patch, or a restart) and you should check announcements for more information.
"Disconnected from server" after Yedang screen.
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
When the login page comes up, either after skipping the logo screens or after the Yedang screen, Audition closes with the error dialogue box, "Disconnected from server."Solution:
This can happen if Audition is not fully patched, which can be caused by certain manual patches on 64-bit systems. Simply run the patcher from the correct location and allow it to patch.
In-Game Errors
program was closed with hacking tools [001]
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
When starting a game, an error message appears inside Audition that says "program was closed with hacking tools [001]". Shortly after, Audition closes.Solution:
Unfortunately this just happens sometimes (but rarely). So far there is no known fix.
Game just closes randomly at the start of a game.
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
Just when the game is started, or just after the loading screen, the game quits with no errors or warnings.Solution:
I believe this is caused by lag or timing discrepancies because if the client is too far off they get kicked. Unfortunately, apart from improving your connection with the server there isn't much you can do about this.
X-Trap Errors
Abnormal keyboard/mouse input has been detected
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
Audition closes with an X-Trap error:
CODE_FIELD [04-0400-00000000-509]
"An abnormal keyboard/mouse input has been detected. Please close or remove any program which is affecting keyboard/mouse input and restart the system."Solution:
Firstly make sure you are not running any macro programs such as Tasker or G-HotKey. Then, by process of elimination, close any background programs that may be input-related such as a pointer driver that moves the mouse, or a virtual keyboard program, etc.
Check running processes and close anything that is unnecessary that X-Trap could be detecting as producing abnormal input.
Some functions of the operating system has been corrupted.
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
While playing Audition, it closes with an X-TRAP error message that says
CODE_FIELD [08-0400-00000000-509]
or
CODE_FIELD [08-0400-00000000-504]
or maybe
CODE_FIELD [08-0400-00000000-516]
"Some functions of the operating system has been corrupted. Please, close any program which is affecting game client and restart the system."
Solution:
Some versions of some programs running in the background may cause X-Trap to complain and shut down Audition. Close unnecessary background programs such as FRAPS, Game Cam, etc., and run Audition again.
Using a different version of the software may fix the issue. For example, FRAPS v2.6.4 or 2.7.2 may not cause this error.
Other software that X-Trap commonly blocks include Xfire, ATI Tray Tools, Game Cam, ThreatFire, and GameGuard.

How to install Audition and patch manually
Solution by tgfcoderProblem description:
How to manually patch Audition if you're having difficulties with the official patcher.Solution:
Assuming you do not have Audition installed, first download the base installation, either from a mirror site or the torrent. If you get it from the torrent it will take less time to patch.
Run the setup and install Audition.
Use
Weenie's version checker script to find out what version of Audition you have installed.
If you have version 10037 then you will need to download and run the "Upgrade Version 10037 to 10038" to get Audition to version 10038. Then after that you will need "Upgrade Version 10038 to 10039" and etc. until you are all the way up the top.
The upgrades and links can be found
