If you've finished the game and played it all out (and that includes finding the easter egg on the last level!) then you might want to take part in a sort of unofficial "Low Score Finish Challenge".
The aim of this challenge or competition is to, as the name implies, finish the game with the least score.
This can be verified on the scoreboard by the new column, "Finished".
Therefore, the leader will be the person who has this check mark, furthest down the leaderboard (least score.)
See the scoreboard if you're confused.
This involves:
* Avoiding monsters and treasure as they will increase your score * This means a lot less money and potions. In fact, nearly none IIRC. You'll have to bare more damage. (hint hint?) * Making sure to get hit once per level (this is easy) as to not get +100 points for the halo * Making sure to not collect any time gems as this will increase points too * Killing the bare minimum monsters (Radkelu only would be ideal.) * Picking the right character. Basically this asks whether you feel better with sempridge levels or Entarya levels. Hint: Entarya is harder, but better for the challenge. Expect to die a bit-- but sempridge might give you unwanted EXP for its beginner difficulty.
Strategy is more a key here because you have to think about how you will earn money, how you will spend it, and be very careful about when you save, when to die, etc.
One might call it a purist challenge.
I call it the Low Score Finish Challenge.
My character for this challenge is LowScoreFinish. How original.
You're welcome to join at any time!
Thanks, Jordan. |
